Lighthouse Café was created with a simple idea in mind — to build a warm and welcoming place where people could enjoy great food, quality coffee, and genuine hospitality in a relaxed coastal setting.

As a family-run café, creating a friendly atmosphere has always been just as important to us as the food we serve. We wanted Lighthouse Café to feel comfortable, personal, and welcoming from the moment people walk through the door.

Inspired by the nearby coast and the sense of calm and community that comes with it, Lighthouse Café combines modern café dining with a relaxed beachside atmosphere.

I spent four years working front of house at Tulleys Tea Room, learning the importance of warm service, attention to detail, and creating an atmosphere where people feel genuinely comfortable and cared for.

And then there’s Mia — our little star in the apron 😊 Passionate about serving milkshakes and making customers smile, she brings so much warmth and personality to the café. If you spot “Little Miss Apron” around the café 🙏, you’ll quickly discover she may just be the most caring waitress you’ll ever meet.
